Limited edition prints
If you like Defining Creativity’s visual identity, designed by Rick de Zwart, you might want to buy the illustrations from the book, together with a matching quote. The images are printed on A4 carton, with a white border, so that you don’t need a passepartout if you’re planning to frame it.
There are three images (limited to 60 prints each):
- A tire representing Goodyear’s lengthy process of trial and error that was necessary to discover curated rubber. Together with the quote: “If we don’t get lost, we’ll never find a new route” (Joan Littlewood)
- Archimedes’ bathtub, in which he had his famous Eureka! moment, but only because he tried to solve his problem for days on end. Together with the quote: “Chance only favours the prepared mind” (Louis Pasteur)
- And a close-up of Damien Hirst’s spot painting, that he copied many times, but is unique as a concept. Together with the quote: “It is better to fail in originality, than to succeed in imitation” (Herman Melville)
The limited edition prints cost €10 (excluding the cost for shipping).
